Roads
Anyone who sits in a queue every day knows the social and economic importance of a smooth flow of traffic. PMV is therefore filling in the missing links in the Flemish road network via public-private partnerships. PMV is doing this with the help of its subsidiary, Via-Invest. This is a joint venture between PMV (51%) and the Agency for Roads and Traffic and the Department of Transport and Public Works (49%).
What is Via-Invest?
Via-Invest nv invests in various project companies (SPVs) with capital and subordinated loans. Financial institutions make debt financing available. Private investors are also invited to participate in these project companies. In addition, Via-Invest, as an agent of the Flemish Region, is also responsible for leading the awarding procedures for the various PPP road projects.
