Dripl is the brainchild of Colin Deblonde and Lucas Moreau, who as product development students decided to design a packaging-free alternative to the classic soft drink dispenser. Together with two friends, they launched their company in 2020 with which they want to unleash the a ‘refillution’.
Dripl’s Refill Points are connected to water pipes. They purify and cool the tap water, and they mix it with one of Dripl’s low-sugar flavours. Healthier, packaging-free and sustainable. Barely a year after its founding, the Ghent start-up already has about 20 drink dispensers in place at organisations such as Imec, JBC and Showpad.

Partners in ambition at Dripl

To grow further, Dripl started looking for funding. In October 2021, the company raised €1.1 million from a number of investors including Stéphane Ronse, founder of Foodbag, Jonas Mallisse of Too Good To Go and Wim Vernaeve of Greenpark Investment Partners, in combination with a PMV financing. In addition, Dripl also received bank financing and an innovation grant from Vlaio. With the fresh capital, Dripl will finance its growth, expand its operations in Belgium and the Netherlands and strengthen its team.
