More than 5,000 people with disabilities are currently waiting for adapted housing. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Twenty thousand people today live in buildings from the last century. They urgently need adapted housing. Because you can’t live in a waiting list. People with visual, hearing, mental or physical disabilities live on a replacement income: between €770 and €1,600 a month. That is generously insufficient for rental housing on the private market. The housing shortage is great. Too big for a government already under severe pressure. That’s why Inclusie Invest wants to disconnect the need for care from the need for buildings.

PMV’s role

PMV has committed to raise funds amounting to EUR 4 million. This is done on the basis of an individual project analysis, each time proceeding with a capital increase. PMV’s investment is long-term in nature with staggered repayment over a period of more than 15 years. PMV’s participation in Inclusion Invest is a commercial real estate investment with a strong social focus.

The project in numbers

  • It concerns an investment of EUR 4 million.
  • Six housing projects have already been realised across the provinces.
  • They accommodate more than 60 families.
  • Other projects are under construction.

Besides the structural partnership, one can also become a standard shareholder or participate via crowdfunding.
