Your position
To manage our 6-person team with extensive experience in the field of guaranteeing bank financing, we are looking for a ‘Head of Unit Gigarant’.
Within that function :
- You will be responsible for the operational management and management of the team, including coaching and supervising team members in the handling of files and cooperation with the board of directors of Gigarant
- Create a work environment in which your team of experts can grow in their field and deliver the best possible performance;
- Actively work to expand, optimize and make the Gigarant business profitable
- You will act as an investment manager for important guarantee files and you will pay particular attention to the restructuring files;
- In consultation with Gigarant’s Board of Directors, you will conduct strategic reflections on the optimal operation of Gigarant;
- In consultation with the Group Manager and the Board of Directors of Gigarant, you are responsible for drawing up the operating budget and setting the goals to be achieved.
Your profile
Do you describe yourself as someone with expert-level expertise in bank financing and guarantees, and do you combine this with a particularly good professional attitude and exemplary ethics?
Do you have extensive experience in managerial positions or do you already have a solid experience with the functional and/or project-based management of employees?
Are you an enterprising and result-oriented team player with good social and communication skills and an interest in working in an environment where people are involved in financing on a daily basis?
Do you have :
- a Master’s degree or equivalent through experience;
- you have a strong financial background and are familiar with investment analysis and financing techniques;
- 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years of relevant practical experience in the banking sector;
- good knowledge of Dutch and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
