Your function

The range of tasks of an investment manager is very diverse.

• You screen new opportunities and evolutions in the market;
• You analyse new and/or existing investment files and defend them before an investment committee;
• You negotiate and structure these potential investments;
• You actively monitor the investments and help determine the strategy of the portfolio companies, whether or not on the basis of a management mandate in the Board of Directors;
• You are the point of contact for partner and sector organisations, research institutes and academic centres;

You ensure a structured and efficient follow-up of your portfolio companies by drawing up periodic reports.

Your profile

Are you the experienced investment manager with a passion for innovative, ambitious companies looking for solutions to the major challenges we face as a Flemish economy with a focus on digitalisation, ageing population and sustainability. 

Do you feel at home in a dynamic, team-oriented culture with numerous interaction conversations with domain experts or academic researchers ?

And do you also have

• a university education with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the aforementioned areas;
• a proven track record in a senior role where you had to manage a P&L and/or experience in the investment world;
• a well-developed network and expertise.
