KAAI designs luxury handbags for the active business woman. The bags combine business functionality and fashion in one bag. Moreover, they are made of high-quality Italian leather that is scratch-free, waterproof and UV-resistant.

They are sold in the company’s own KAAI shops in Antwerp, Brussels or online and through partners at home and abroad. The company was founded in 2017 by Helga Meersman and Ine Verhaert, businesswomen themselves with more than 20 years of experience in fashion and retail.

PMV has confidence in the potential of this Belgian handbag brand and funded in the 2019 capital round with a convertible subordinated loan. It is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) Creative Europe.
